With a partner quiz yourself on the different fruits and vegetables you have learnt by either guessing what your partner is signing for you or you have them tell you a word and you have to sign it back.
You can practice these phrases with a partner by either signing it to them or having them signing it to you and you can ask them what their favourite fruit or vegetable is.
With sentence structure in ASL you would put the topic of the sentence first (so the fruit/vegetable) before you put the comment (like or favourite). Then before and after the comment you put the sign for "I/me/my" to indicate that the comment is from you.
Ex: (TOPIC I/me/my COMMENT I/me/my)
Ex: Apple I don't like I
My favourite fruit (fruit/vegetable) is...
I don't like (fruit/vegetable).
I prefer
What your favourite vegetable (or fruit)?
You might want to go back to the lesson on colors.
This is a great way for you to practice these new words you learnt about fruit and vegetables along with the previous lesson you might of had of colors in ASL
